We are nerdy tourists.  Whether it is at home here in Calgary or abroad, we love the tourism industry with all its tacky t-shirts and chachi souveniers.  We go out of our way to see all the things that appeal to tourists, even if they aren’t the things that would initially appeal to us as travelers.  We still prefer to get off the beaten path, make our own adventures and see much of the world that nobody else gets to appreciate or enjoy, but we know many just like cool scenery, unique activities, historical venues, and sometimes even the biggest ball of twine in the world.  When we do tourist stuff, we do our best to experience it like a tourist and will share it with you here, hence all the Calgary tourists sites that we are happy to promote and share with the world.
